Full Description: This is a translation of the prayers of the Holy Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) entitled Masnoon Duaain called from the Pages of the Holy Qur'an and authentic works of Traditions. The Prophet was a great believer in Prayers: supplications his Lord with a zeal and fervour rarely to be found the religious literature of the world. One who cares to read them, cannot but be overwhelmed with the depth of feelings with which he addressed Allah, intense love of the Great Master, deep consciousness of His unbounded favours, unshakable confidence in the Divine Mercy, and unfaltering faith in his Might and Power and sense of deep humility, these are the multicoloured threads with which is woven the delicate pattern of the Prophet's (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam) prayers.
    In this age of gross materialism, a book dealing with prayers may have no great charm. The modern man is so much absorbed in the material pursuits that he may not find time to respond effectively to the yearnings of his soul. But in the midst of this turmoil he sometimes finds himself in the grip of a terrible void and his soul sets out itself frantically in search of spiritual peace. It is on this occasion that he finds solace and comfort in prayers.
 
   Prayer is the life and soul of man's existence. It is the natural urge of man which is inseparably essential for him. I believe that the need for prayers has never been so pressing and great as today when man, under the impact of the materialism, has been forced to live as a soulless human being bereft of all tender feelings to which he owes his superiority to all the created things.
